The last of the Korean Hostages held by the Taliban have been freed. We prayed for the hostages while they were held captive and we should continue to pray for them and their families after they're home.
I wonder how God will use these former hostages in the future. They have pretty unusual experience under their belts now. I'm curious to know how God will use this as they press further into the world with the Gospel.

Does this bother anyone? While we will continue to pray for the Taliban and all Afghanistan we are driven to pray for the laborers even more. Tomorrow I'll be teaching through Acts 12 where James was killed under an evil government and the church prayed to have Peter released. Peter had already said he would NOT stop preaching the gospel in chapter 4, and was so at peace about the situation that he was sleeping deeply in jail. In this modern age the South Korean government, among other concessions, agreed to stop allowing missionaries from Korea into Afghanistan. Please read the two quotes from the Associated Press below and pray for the laborers, the Taliban and for the great missionary sending nation of South Korea.
"Taliban spokesman Qari Yousef Ahmadi vowed to abduct more foreigners, reinforcing fears that South Korea's decision to negotiate directly with the militants would embolden them.
``We will do the same thing with the other allies in Afghanistan, because we found this way to be successful,'' he told The Associated Press via cell phone from an undisclosed location."
Yes, good prayer request!
