Men's Fishing Trip & Family Cookout

Saturday May 8

Join us for a morning fishing trip aboard the Blue Herron Drift Fishing Boat! We'll be departing from their Riviera Beach location at 389 E. Blue Heron Blvd. (under the Blue Heron Bridge). The trip is from 8:30am-12:30pm and you'll need to be there a half hour early. The $35 per person cost includes bait, fishing equipment and gratuity for the mates. Drinks and snacks are not included. At 4pm, we'll be having a family cookout at Carlin Park in Jupiter. Bring your own meat, drinks and a dish to share.

Riverbank Church Mission Trip

May 20-24 in Lebanon, New Hampshire

As many of you know, we've partnered with Pastor Chris, and the newly-planted Riverbank Church, to help reach the Upper Valley region in and around Lebanon, NH. Now we have an excellent opportunity to go up there and serve! While we're there, we'll be helping Pastor Chris with community outreach and the set-up/tear-down of an outdoor service event on Sunday, May 23rd. For more info and the application form, click here. At the end of last year, we said a sad and joyful goodbye to Pastor Chris and his family as they headed up to Lebanon, New Hampshire to plant Riverbank Church in the most unreached area of the country. Cambodia Mission Opportunity

Musicianaries International is assembling a team to assist in their rice distribution program in July. If you would like more information about how you can be a part of this life-changing experience, contact Rachel at Musicianaries at (561) 882-1389.

Here's some more info about the trip:
We will be hosting two separate 10 to 12 day trips, not including air travel, during the month of July 2010. We are thrilled that pledges have been made for rice in the amount of 325 tons to be distributed along with Scriptures all over Cambodia while we are there. We will also have medical teams conducting clinics during these distributions as well as school supply distributions! We will continue our work with a Christian organization, TransformAsia, who organizes the actual day-by-day schedule of ministry outreach activities and concerts. Due to their close relationship with the Prime Minister's Office and Government Officials we will be unable to give you an exact day-by-day, city-by-city schedule at this time. Our basic suggestion for the people coming on this trip with us is to be as flexible and servant-hearted as possible for the maximum blessing of the Cambodian people.

Here is what a "typical day" could look like:
One of the first things we do with a team is take them to 2 different museums. One being an old torture chamber/genocide museum and the other being one of the "killing fields" where there are mass graves. We feel this is necessary so the team members can see what the nation has previously gone through and what the local people have experienced. Needless to say, it's a very humbling and sobering time. Each day is quite unique but days are typically spent traveling in the a.m. to a new town/province which could be anywhere from 1-5 hours. We usually will have a rice distribution at least once a day, sometimes up to 3 a day and usually in different towns each time. Many nights we will have concerts and a few evenings we will be doing live television shows with live audiences and about a 1.5-3 million viewing audience.

What has Jesus done for you? Looking back over your life there is probably at least one defining moment in your life when Jesus' love was so evident to you that there was absolutely no denying the fact that He changed you and your circumstances with His incredible power. Whether this moment happened when you first spoke the promise of salvation, or whether it was years down the road when God set you free from a bondage which had been holding you captive, the world needs to hear it! If you are looking for a way to share Jesus with others, this may be the perfect opportunity. This is a perfect way to let your light shine...

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may praise your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Mathew 5:16
